Do The Work!

How can you become a purpose driven woman?! Quite simply with God, faith and prayer. It takes all three to get you there and to help you to maintain that position is God, the ultimate source of our strength. We cannot do everything by ourselves because we are human, but with God all things are possible. He is our strength.

I think it is so important to visualise your goals, visualise who you want to be, how can you get there, when you get to that point what will you do next? Doing the work today will help to bring you to a greater tomorrow. I find whenever I am unhappy with certain aspects of my life or in general, I opt to make changes so that I can be happier. I visualise what I want, what I desire, I pray and put it to God and allow Him to do the rest. However, I make the effort to get the work done also.

It is like asking God to help you to buy a new car and whenever God provides for you, you spend the money on something else. You have to be willing to become the woman that you desire to be, that does not mean you have to be someone else, you can be yourself, but a better version of you. A woman who is led by purpose and faith, a woman who is courageous, achieves what she sets out to achieve, who sets goals, creates boundaries and pursues what she needs to pursue to ensure that her family are well taken care of.

This reminds me greatly of the Proverbs 31 woman who was a busy woman. She did not sit idly doing nothing. She was a woman who got things done. She went out of her way to provide for her family and she took care of her household. How do you take care of your household? What are some things that you do to make sure that everyone in your household is content and happy? Are there any areas you feel you could improve on?

“She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.” - Proverbs 31:27.

Nobody is perfect, nobody has the perfect home or lifestyle, no matter how hard they try to push this narrative. Even the most seemingly ‘perfect’ and most polished people on instagram have their own things going on behind the scenes, so try to stay focused on yourself and your family. Be your own goals! I encourage you to make your family and yourself happy by doing all that you need to do. I also encourage you to focus on your life, your home and your career. Taking it one step at a time. Doing the work now will help to shape a future that you and your child(ren) will be very proud of. I am always rooting for you because I know that you have what it takes to be great.
